In October 31th, There were a lot of people in Shibuya. Many people wear costume which is like a monster and famous person etc. Some people takes a picture with people who wear unique costume. In USA, Children exchange candy. They say “trick or treat”. What is Halloween? First, Halloween is festival of ancient Celtic. They celebrated harvest in autumn and they exorcise evil spirit. They hollow out pumpkin. It is called Jack-O-lantern. People wear unique costume. In USA, People chose costume which is frightening. But In Japan, People chose costume which is unique. Second, In Different country, Halloween is very different. People who live in country using English celebrate Halloween. In Ireland, a week of Halloween is rest. But In school of catholic, School against to celebrate Halloween. Third, Parade held in New York. It is called New York’s Village Halloween Parade. New York's Village Halloween Parade is an annual holiday parade and street pageant presented on the night of every Halloween in New York City's Greenwich Village. In Harajuku, Pumpkin parade held. But it is parade of children. Finally, Now Halloween is very exciting festival. But every people don’t know origin of Halloween. They should know Halloween more.
